Welcome to my photography journey! Since purchasing my first Canon film camera in 1982, I've seen the world as a canvas of endless stories waiting to be captured.  Experimenting with angles, lenses, and the magic of light has fueled my passion, leading me to join a camera club where I’ve gained invaluable insights from fellow enthusiasts. Through competitions and field trips, I’ve not only honed my skills but also created lasting memories with a community that shares my love for photography.
I converted a small room at home into a darkroom where I was mesmerized seeing my first black and white photo come to life before my eyes. It almost seemed like magic, and I have always held a special love for monochrome images, even though the magic of the darkroom has given way to modern technology.​​

​​For several years I had a part-time photography business, mostly shooting weddings, portraiture, and had several magazine articles published along the way. Although enjoying my photography during those days, my real passion was, and still is, capturing beautiful landscapes and seascapes, especially those in some of the world's most iconic locations right here in Australia. Many times, I have travelled before dawn to some beautiful location, anticipating a glorious sunrise, often being rewarded with a photo worthy of display in someone's home.
As you browse my photos, I trust that your emotions will be impacted by the beauty, composition, colour, contrast, light, or even just the “feel” of the image.
It’s true that anyone can take a photo, even a good photo, however, I believe that as you look through Ozzaz Images, you will only see great photos.
